Summer Hockey Camps & Clinics
Anyone wishing to partake in one of our summer hockey camps or clinics who is not able to afford the cost, will be granted a scholarship for the full or partial amount if needed. If you would like to participate in a camp or clinic, but cannot afford it, please call us right away at 753-0200 and we will get you set up.

NO YOUTH DENIED- Any child may belong to the YMCA regardless of income or family situation. If you know of a child who would like to belong, please notify the YMCA staff. The Fremont Family YMCA Sidner Ice Arena has several options available for any youth wishing to participate in one of our activities but who is unable to afford the cost. Below is a listing of scholarship opportunities. If you have any questions on these programs please contact Angie at the rink at 402-753-0200.

1. Sidner Ice Arena Schilke Grant Program The Schilke Grant Program is for any youth under the age of 18 living in the Fremont area community and who is a member of the Fremont Family YMCA and the Fremont Ice Association. Grants may be given for any ice skating activity at the Sidner Ice Arena. All applicants will be submitted to a committee and their needs will be determined. All applicants must be submitted before January 1st, 2007. For more information on this grant or to pick up a grant form, please stop by the Sidner Ice Arena during our normal business hours.

2. Fremont Ice Association Scholarship This scholarship is offered through the Fremont Ice Association. Anyone wishing for more information is encouraged to speak to an Ice Association representative or contact Angie at the Sidner Ice Arena- 402-753-0200.
